The TechTour Growth50 and the VivaTech Top 100 have both revealed which Startups they envision to the next unicorns. Eight startups made it to the lists with Oviva selected on both lists. The Technopark Zurich resident Skycell is one of them

The Top 16 startups, among them Alivion of the Technopark Zurich, will now be further assessed through in-depth interviews with the foundation board as well as expert reports. Up to six Swiss entrepreneurs will receive CHF 100,000 each at the award ceremony on June 22, 2022.

The Innosuisse Scale-up program allows selected startups to refine and implement their growth strategy with the support of specialised Innosuisse coaches. Fourteen startups, among them LEDCity, have entered the second phase of the Scale-up Coaching programme.

LEDCity claims to have developed the world’s most energy-efficient lighting system with average energy savings of 90 percent. In 2021 the cleantech start-up doubled revenues to more than $3 million and opened offices in Germany and Spain. The start-up plans to expand globally.

South Pole is proud to announce two new minority investors: Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore, via its carbon solutions platform, and Salesforce Ventures, the global investment arm of Salesforce, based in San Francisco. Temasek and Salesforce Ventures will reinforce South Pole’s strong commitment to scaling up climate action in Asia and North America respectively.
