Visits and Guided Tours of the TECHNOPARK® Zurich
The Technopark Zurich is normally open from Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 20:00, Saturdays from 6:00 to 17:00.
During those times, the public areas, such as the restaurant or the “Transfer” part of the building can be visited without special registration or announcement.
Guided visits
The Technopark Zurich is primarily a place for people to work and there is no dedicated staff for visitors or guided tours.
On special request, guided tours (duration ca. 1 – 1.5 hours) can be organized for a flat compensation fee of 500 CHF.
For schools, public bodies or existing partnerships, this flat fee may be lowered.
Invitation letters for visa
Invitation letters for visa are not issued, ever. We do not want to endorse dedicated travel from overseas for the sole pupose of visiting the Technopark Zurich.
Visiting tenant companies
Tenant companies or startups may only be visited if there is a concrete and realistic added value for the visited companies. This could be a potential cooperation, a valuable customer contact, a possible investment or a similar benefit. We will only ask companies to participate in a guided visit, if such added value is obvious to us. Although many of our companies are expanding or do have expansion plans abroad, and although they need locations and/or cooperation opportunities in foreign countries, they typically take decisions based on their very particular and individual situation and may rely on established networks for that, such as Swiss Global Enterprise or swissnex. Those networks have often a greater value for this purpose than a partnership with a technology park abroad. If you do request to visit a tenant company or startup based on the mentioned criteria, please indicate concrete company names based on Technopark Zurich’s company directory.
